Early Detection and Screening Launch

On January 9, 2008, the Foundation launched the first-ever early detection and lung cancer screening program of its kind, hand-in-hand with Dr. Claudia Henschke’s International Early Lung Cancer Action Program (I-ELCAP) and Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City, California.
